As a lawyer, Brandon is a committee chairperson for the State Bar of Michigan's Marijuana Law Section and is involved with the marijuana advocacy group NORML. He has written articles for the Ingham County Bar Association's "Briefs" as well as the Grand Rapids Lawyer, all exclusively in the field of cannabis law. In addition, he has written briefs filed with the Michigan Supreme Court and the Michigan Court of Appeals and regularly gives seminars on cannabis compliance as well as cannabusiness law in Michigan.
